Transaction and Contracts Manager
I applied through BNY’s Contingent Workforce Direct via Tundra and the recruiter never responded to my follow up email about timeline expectations and if the contract role would offer PTO. No acknowledgement or reply to my email is ghosting and downright laziness.
Salary: 120,640
Business Relationship Manager
I applied to this role and received an email notification that said "Your name has been placed on the official Civil Service Eligibility List for this position. This list serves as the candidate pool which the hiring department must use to fill the position." I followed up to the email a week later and did not hear any response. A month later, I was curious, so I went to LinkedIn and see now that the Innovation & Performance group chose to hire someone internally as they already were the Senior Project Manager with the team. It's very misleading to post jobs externally when they are just going to shoe in people internally. What a waste of time applying.
Salary: $78,713
Vendor and Contract Manager
I interviewed with the hiring manager and was told I would have an update on my status in 3 business days. I sent a follow up email and have not heard any communication from the hiring manager.
Salary: 80000
IT Procurement & Contracts Coordinator
This was weird. I was contacted by a headhunter on LinkedIn and chatted on the phone briefly. Then I messaged them to decline not realizing that the commute would be possible so I messaged a follow up apologizing for the confusion and would like to be considered. I didn't hear from them within 72 hours so I applied to the role directly on Monday and received a call to schedule a phone screen on Friday. I was told I would be invited to a Teams call with the Hiring Manager on Wednesday and had selected 9:30 in the morning. The HR person reassured me that they would have to confirm with the hiring manager then forward the invite. But I did not receive any invite and no phone call responding to my voicemail I left on Monday to confirm the time slot for Wednesday. Since the slot is passed and there's no communication, I take it that I've been ghosted.
Salary: 75000
Staffing Specialist
I applied on Indeed and met with the recruiter. Then they had me do a video interview with the Hiring Manager. Then the Hiring Manager asked me to come on-site to shadow and continue the interview in person while meeting the team. I have not heard back in over a week. The team is small and they take their calls with customers and clients over speaker phone which is odd and disruptive. It's not a call center but they perform as one. There is allegedly a branch manager but it's unclear to me if there is any leadership present on-site seems like they prefer leadership/management to be remote while the grunts stay on-site performing digital tasks with slow and unreliable internet connection.
Salary: $41,600
Office Services Associate
I applied on LinkedIn originally and met with the recruiter on camera. The position is very straightforward but never heard back from the recruiter.
Salary: $47,840
Strategy & Operations Lead
Recruiter called and left a message to schedule a time to talk. I called back within 30 minutes and left a message. Then called back the next day and didn't get a response.
Salary: $110,000 - $170,000
Third Party Risk Management Administrator
I talked to the HR recruiter and the hiring manager on the phone and haven't heard back. It's already over a month since I applied and spoke to someone.
